Have you seen this?
I have one question. Where did they build this?! I have looked into doing this a LOT and the sticking point has always been: you can't have a legal residence under 300sqft (average). This isn't true if you're in the middle of nowhere, but these folks mentioned a paycheck so I want to know what state and county they're in and if they have their own land.

Wow! I'm glad this works for them. I'm kinda impressed/amazed. At the same time, it makes me feel a bit claustrophobic. I'm curious how much land they have, because I imagine they spend a good deal of time outside. And, I guess that if they do any entertaining, they do it outside.

ReplyDeleteYep, Sara, that's how Americans pronounce it. I remember I didn't hear it pronounced "foy-ay" until I was a teen.
ReplyDeleteI would lovelovelove to live in a home like this. Have you seen Tumbleweed Houses? They sell plans for tiny houses. The smallest is 65 sq ft, the largest is 874 sq ft. The Hubby and I are very interested in building one when we finally buy our dream property.
They do have their own land, and they way they are able to live so small is because their house has wheels and a title: it falls under the category of vehicle. :)
