My friends called me granolagirl for a reason, I'm a bit of a granola. I also make really good granola, but that's not why they called me that. Anyway, maybe I can make this a sort of hippie blog where I share all my recipes for natural things and other treehugging things I come across.
I came across rubber mulch this last week in a playground. It looks like pea gravel, but is chopped up old rubber tires. What a great recycling idea! This stuff was soooo comfy! I was bouncing as I walked and only slightly less terrified of my son falling and breaking something. It can also be used as an actual mulch to keep weeds out of garden beds.Labels: going green
